Circulating the appearance of the Delta variant of the Corona Virus, the culprit of the current pandemic

Jakarta -

Researchers managed to capture the appearance of the Delta variant of the Corona virus. This photo is the result of the discovery of an expert from Melbourne, Australia, Dr Jason Roberts, from The Peter Doherty Institute.

Experts say the appearance of this Delta variant could be the first step to understanding the nature of the transmission of the Corona virus. The appearance of the Delta variant in this microscope is like a small sun.

Viruses use a variety of survival strategies that allow them to exist in nature. To survive, the virus will continue to mutate.

Quoted from the official website of the Doherty Institute, there are two types of changes that viruses can make, namely regarding the characteristics of transmission and related to the molecular mechanisms of viruses so that they can reproduce and survive in the human body.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the Delta variant of the Corona Virus has been included in the variant of concern category, meaning it has an influence on the level of transmission. In Indonesia itself, the Delta variant has dominated and spread in several regions.

Data from Balitbangkes shows that there are six new variants of Corona found in Indonesia, namely Alpha, Beta, Delta, Iota, and Kappa. Of the six new variants, the Delta variant dominates, namely 436 out of 553 cases.
