A COVID-19 vaccine certificate of at least dose 1 is a travel requirement for Emergency PPKM which will take effect on July 3, 2021. However, some people have complained that they have not received a COVID-19 vaccine certificate even though the first dose has been injected.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health's COVID-19 vaccination, Dr. Siti Nadia Tarmizi, spoke up. He emphasized that every citizen who has received the Corona vaccine, must get a certificate within 7-10 days after the vaccination day.

If someone complains that they haven't received a COVID-19 vaccine certificate via SMS, it's a good idea to immediately try to download a COVID-19 vaccine certificate on the PeduliLindung application or website.





"Contact the website (Care to Protect) if you can't get it," said Dr. Nadia when confirmed by AFP on Wednesday (7/7/2021).

What if you can't be vaccinated against Corona for medical reasons?

The head of the COVID-19 Task Force, Lt. Gen. Ganip Warsito, explained that people who cannot be vaccinated against COVID-19 due to a history of comorbid diseases may travel during Emergency PPKM even though they do not have a COVID-19 vaccine certificate.

However, you must show a certificate from a doctor as proof that you cannot be vaccinated.

"Passengers with special interests who are not or have not been vaccinated for medical reasons based on specialist doctors' statements, can travel, show a negative RT-PCR letter," explained Ganip in a virtual conference, Friday (2/7/2021).

Dr. Nadia on the previous occasion explained that there is no special format for the certificate. Importantly, the letter states a medical condition that prevents the traveler from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

He emphasized that it was very important to attach a negative COVID-19 test result from an antigen swab or PCR, even though the traveler did not have a COVID-19 vaccine certificate.
